Some photos of the recent Tour of Britain race held around the centre of Hanley, Stoke on Trent. All photos taken on the Nikon D300 with Nikon 70-200mm VR lens. Using the battery pack extension on the D300 with Rechargeable AA batteries means you can get 8FPS out of the D300 pretty useful for fast sports like this one. I set the focus to C for continuous and normally select the centre focus bracket and fire a few frames off.
The photos are straight from the RAW file to JPEG so would all need to be edited for light, colour and cropping to get the best out of them.
